There are many different fish to catch in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including the Tuna. This fish is worth 7000 Bells, making it a very attractive prospect for islanders.
To find the Tuna, you will need to look for fish spawns at the pier. The Tuna has a medium-sized shadow, but that doesn’t guarantee you will catch it, as many fish share this shadow size. The Barreleye will be available to catch all day, from November to April in the Northern Hemisphere, and between May and October in the Southern Hemisphere.
So, to recap:
Northern Hemisphere
- Fish at the pier
- Medium size shadow
- Available all day
- From November to April
Southern Hemisphere
- Fish at the pier
- Medium size shadow
- Available all day
- From May to October
One item that will prove very useful in your quest to catch the Tuna or any other fish for that matter is Fish Bait. Be sure to bring some with you when you plan on fishing, as it will make more fish spawn.
