How to get an Earth Egg, and what it does, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Don't scramble them.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Bunny Day has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and there are a host of new recipes for you to get your hands on. There are also eggs hidden all over the island for you to find. The Earth Egg is one of the new resources that was added to the game, and you will want to get as many of them as you can.

When you finally get enough Earth Eggs, you will get access to special recipes for the Earth Egg set, exclusive items that you will only be able to make during the Bunny Day event. You will also need Earth Eggs to make the other Bunny Day recipes that you can find in the game right now.

You can find these recipes by talking to villagers, finding special Bunndy Day Message Bottles on the beach, talking to Zipper T. Bunny, shooting down the special Bunny Day Balloons, and for picking up enough types of each of the special eggs.

Earth Egg

You can find Earth Eggs buried all over your island. They will have the same marker on the ground as fossils, so be sure to dig up every one that you see to get as many Earth Eggs as possible.

There will be a limit to how many Earth Eggs will spawn on your island each day, but if you like, you can spend some Nook Miles to get a ticket to a Mystery Island, and you may be lucky enough to find some more of them there.
