How to get Leaf Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

How do you get more of them?

It’s time to celebrate April in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with Bunny Day. If you haven’t already, set out for another island adventure with the brand new event to celebrate. With the focus being on April and Easter, you have to find a variety of different eggs all over the game. Leaf Eggs a type of egg available in this event, and thankfully, they’re pretty easy to acquire.

When you spot one of the Eggs left by Animal Crossing’s Zipper T. Bunny in the trees, approach it, and start to shake the tree. They work just like any other type of fruit or money you’ve already come to grow on your island. Shake the tree, and the egg should fall out onto the ground. You can pick these up, and after acquiring enough of these, you should have some new DIY recipes to craft before the end of the event.

There are a variety of different types of DIY egg projects you can make. The ones connected to Leaf Eggs include:

  • Leaf-egg Shell, which requires 2 Leaf Eggs
  • Leaf-egg Outfit, which requires 3 Leaf Eggs
  • Leaf-egg Shoes, which requires 2 Leaf Eggs

You will discover these projects after collecting nine Leaf Eggs for the event. Some of the other Leaf Eggs in the game do require you to use Leaf Eggs to make them, so continue collecting as many as you can before the event ends and none of the eggs are available.

The event started on April 1 and continues until April 12. Make sure to participate every day to collect eggs scattered all over your island.
