Mario Kart Tour’s first Tour is all about New York, and Pauline is the special Tour related character. For those who don’t know, Pauline was Mario’s original love interest but was harshly kicked to the curb when Princess Peach came on the scene. Because Mario Kart Tour has recently released, we don’t know if special Tour related characters like this will end up in the general item pool after the Tour finishes. But I suspect they will not, and will be brought out for special occasions and events.

How To Get Pauline In Mario Kart Tour

If you want to get your hands on Pauline, you need to get lucky when you are firing the pipe. To do this, you need to trade the Rubies you earn by leveling up, finishing Cups, and potentially buying, and trade them in for a chance to fire the pipe and get a new driver, kart, or glider.

There appears to be a one percent chance of getting Pauline, so the chances are unfortunately quite low. Each day different items will end up in the store as part of the Daily Selects. I find it very unlikely that Pauline will end up there. As such, the only way to get her is to using the gacha mechanic of firing the pipe.

All drivers come with a unique skill, and Pauline’s is Lucky 7. It’s where she surrounds her kart with seven items and fires them all at once. If you really, really want to get Pauline for your driver collection, then you might want to think about doing some rerolling of your game. This mechanic is only really a reliable option if you have just started playing, as you will lose any progress you have made.
