The number of mounts to farm never truly ends in World of Warcraft, and that hasn’t changed for the Shadowlands expansion. Today, we’re looking at the Armored Bonehoof Tauralus, a beast of a mount only available to a specific set of players. You’ll want to know how to get this mount either for your own use, a gift to a friend, or a potential payday on the auction house.

Armored Bonehoof Tauralus drops from Sabriel the Bonecleaver, who only appears after a set of conditions are fulfilled in Maldraxxus. First, you’ll need to play as a Necrolord. While playing through your covenant’s expansion, you need to raise your Anima Conductor to level 3. Once you achieve this rank, you can set your conductor to the Theater of Pain. This lets you challenge a “powerful enemy.”

Your next stop is the arena in the center of the Theater of Pain. You’ll be looking for Sabriel here, and he spawns along with one of the elites that lie dormant inside the spheres in each corner of the dungeon. If you see Drolkrad in one of the spheres, you’re in luck, because Sabriel will always accompany Drolkrad. Take down the rest of the champions in the arena, and wait for Drolkrad to plant his feet on the ground. Beat him and Sabriel, and with a good dose of luck, you’ll be the new owner of Armored Bonehoof Tauralus.
