How to Get the Webweaver Rod in Fisch

Learn how to get the Webweaver Rod in Fisch, the limited spider-themed rod from the FischFright 3 Halloween event.

The Webweaver Rod is one of the limited rods from the FischFright 3 Halloween event in Fisch, and it brings spiders along while you fish. Here is how to get the Webweaver Rod in Fisch, including what Webby Winston asks you to do and the stats the rod gives you.

How to Get the Webweaver Rod in Fisch

You get the Webweaver Rod by finishing all three of Webby Winston’s tasks and then buying the rod from him with Treats. The tasks can be done in any order, and you can work on them at the same time, so there is no need to finish one before starting the next. Here is what each one asks for:

  • Trick-or-treat: Knock on 16 different houses with the Candy Bucket equipped. Visiting the same door twice does not count.
  • Cobweb Cod: Catch 15 Cobweb Cod in the cavern’s green water.
  • Webbed fish: Land 10 fish with the Webbed mutation inside Webridden Cavern.

Completing all three tasks pays out 1,000 Treats, which is exactly what Winston charges for the rod. Talk to him again once the tasks are done and buy the Webweaver Rod before you spend those Treats on anything else, since you will not need to farm extra Treats for it.

Where to Find Webby Winston in Fisch

Webby Winston stands inside Webridden Cavern, the cave beneath Caustic Hallow, just to the right of the Witch’s Cauldron. Caustic Hallow is the event area, so you need to travel there first before you can start the quest, and the route from Moosewood goes like this:

  1. Go to the east dock in Moosewood and talk to the captain of the Flying Dutchman.
  2. Travel to Caustic Hallow and enter Webridden Cavern.
  3. Look to the right of the Witch’s Cauldron and talk to Webby Winston to start the tasks.

Webweaver Rod Stats and Passive

The Webweaver Rod has no weight limit, and its passive is called Spider Web, which is where the spiders you see while fishing come from. Here is the full stat line for the rod as it appears during the FischFright 3 event, with the passive explained right after the table:

StatValue
Lure Speed125%
Luck250%
Control0.03
Resilience10%
Max KgUnlimited

While you fish with the rod equipped, spiders show up roughly every 10 seconds and give nearby fish the Webbed mutation. That is the same mutation Winston asks you to catch for his third task, so you will already be familiar with it from the questline.
