Hit top level quickly by focusing your attention.

Playing through the content of an expansion is always a lot of fun as you explore the worlds and get stuck into the stories that each zone’s characters provide. Shadowlands is no different as the game follows the Alliance and the Horde’s attempts to stop Sylvanas Windrunner in this dark new realm.

However, if you are the type who prefers to get through the leveling process quickly to get to the end-game content and prepare your character for the planned raid content, then finding the fastest approach to get there will minimize wasted time.

The time taken to complete the Shadowlands leveling process is actually quite low compared to previous expansions. With the new leveling process for fresh characters included, it should create new additions to your roster and ready to get raiding fairly easy.

However, the best way to level in Shadowlands is to simply focus on getting through the campaign content. There are questlines in each area relating to the story for each zone, and they will usually last a good 10 quests each, with between six and eight questlines to complete each zone. The accumulative XP that you gain by doing all of these story quests is enough to get you to level 60.

With that said, many of the quests in these lines are as you might expect, including killing a certain number of a specific enemy or collecting a resource. This means that if you have a group of people you can complete these quests with, the time to complete the requirements should be cut exponentially. The more players that you’re questing with, the faster it will be.

You can do side quests if you wish, but it’s not necessary to build up enough XP to reach level 60, though if a world quest offering XP is available, it’s worth your time doing this as they typically offer a good amount of XP for minimal effort.
