Sackboy: A Big Adventure Wardrobe

How to unlock and customize outfits in Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Always look your best.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of the games set in the Little Big Planet universe is the amount of customization available for you to give to your own Sackboy. A huge number of clothes, emotes and other vanity items scattered throughout levels can be used to make your own little stitched friend look fabulous.

In Sackboy: A Big Adventure, there is certainly no shortage of options to deck out your protagonist with, with more available to unlock as you progress through the levels and a shop where you can grab more.

To customize your outfit, you will need to finish the first level and then enter Zom Zom’s, a large tent that will introduce you to the eccentric shopkeeper. This is where you can purchase items that you can use to customize how you look, with options for individual items and full outfits available. Buying individual items will reduce the cost of the full outfits that include those items, though the selection will be very limited to start with.

You also have access to your wardrobe from this menu, so you can check out all of the items that you have collected so far from levels.

Once you have used Zom Zom’s, a level will be opened up for you, and you will not need to go back to the hut in each instance you want to change an outfit. Pressing and holding the Circle button will bring up the menu and it will show Zom Zom’s. However, you can only do this in the World Map, so you cannot change your outfit once you have started a level.

To unlock more outfits, you need to play through more of the worlds. As you unlock more, Zom Zom will keep you updated on any extra items that he has available for you to purchase. Items all require golden bells that are collectible throughout levels, often in hidden places that require you to hit or spin, so be sure to check through everything thoroughly.
