The official post by the Pokémon Go Twitter will go out on May 23 at 6:00pm PDT. When the post goes live, players will have to choose one of the four available Pokémon to feature in the upcoming Community Day. The Pokémon with the most votes will have a Community Day in June, and the one with the second-most votes will have a Community Day in July.

These are the available Pokémon players can vote for on May 23.

  • Squirtle – If you evolve one all the way to Blastoise, it can learn aura sphere.
  • Weedle – If you evolve one all the way to Beedrill, it will be able to learn drill run.
  • Sandshrew – If you evolve one all the way to Sandslash or Alolan Sandlash, it can learn shadow claw.
  • Gastly – If you evolve one all the way up to Gengar it can learn shadow punch.

At the time of this announcement, we do not know the respective day of the June and July Community Day. All players who wish to vote for their choice of Pokémon need to make sure their voice is heard on the official Pokémon Go post regarding the Community Day, and to post their option using the #PokemonGoCommunityDay hashtag.

The official post will go live on May 23 at 6:00pm and will continue until May 24 at 6:00pm PST.
