In The Gilded Cage Walkthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, Dutch, Arthur and his friends will be going to a grand party and meet Bronte and Mayor. There are some very basic task’s you will do to mingle with the guest.
In the last mission No, No and Thrice, No – Arthur and Miss Grimshaw saved Tilly from Foreman’s gang. For the next mission The Gilded Cage, talk to Hosea in the camp. You can find him outside, he is sitting on the right side near a big wooden crate. While talking Dutch will tell all to attend the party and there you will do some basic task of introducing yourself to the new guest and sharing their cards.

For Gold Medal, pour some drinks at the party and compliment the guest’s attire. Accept a gift and save a life. Next, you will have to follow the servant in stealth.
Mayor’s Party | The Gilded Cage
While talking to Hosea, Dutch will interrupt and talk about the Angelo Bronte’s party. This will trigger a cutscene where you will find Arthur, Hosea, Bill and Dutch in a stagecoach heading towards the party. After reaching the venue the guard on the door will collect all the guns. Follow Dutch and greet Mr. Bronte. You will see him making fun of some men downstairs and he will also ask Dutch to kill someone for him, but he will decline.
Mingle with the guests in the courtyard | The Gilded Cage
Bronte will give a hint about some cash in the trolley station. After this Dutch will walk away and you will have to follow him. You will be doing some very basic task here to mingle with other guests at the party. Do the following thing for Gold Medal.
Once you walk down in your front you will find three ladies. Walk towards the table and offer them champagne.
Walk a little bit ahead and on your right, you will spot two men talking about a show. Talk to them and they will offer you a theater ticket. Ignore the group of men standing in front of the fountain, it includes the Mayor. Go hear last, in between compliment the lady who is standing in the front of musicians and then help a choking man. He is standing near a stable with candles on it.
Finally, walk towards the Mayor and it will trigger a cutscene, Arthur will push a drunken man outside the party. Just take the man to the yellow area and return back to the Mayor. He will thank you and next, you will hear fireworks. In the cutscene, you will also see a servant approaches Mayor and tell him about Cornwall’s problem.
Follow the servant and remain undetected | The Gilded Cage
Quietly follow the servant, maintain a good distance so that you are not spotted by him. Wait for a while once the servant crosses garden tunnel. Next, you will be going inside the house, walk slowly and hide behind the wall. The servant will walk into the room and he will shout on someone, stay back. He will walk to another room and shout a woman. Next, he will be going upstairs, so stay hidden. Go upstairs and you will see him putting something on a desk. It is a ledge, steal it and return to Dutch. Once again you will have to go slow and stay undetected.
Once you are out you will see Billy is fed up with the party, follow your friends outside the house. Waking up next morning Dutch will tell you about one big score after which everyone will return home. This is where the mission ends.
