In the game, all is not right in the world of Paper Mario. The kingdom has been ravaged by a new menace. It is up to Mario, and his new friend Olivia, to take on Folder Soldiers, repair the damaged world, and reclaim Princess Peach’s castle as you try to undo all the evil that King Olly has unleashed upon the world.

Olivia is actually the sister of King Olly, and with her help, you will be able to save Princess Peach, who has been turned into origami, and the rest of the king. You will be able to pull and fold the landscape using Mario’s 1000-Fold Arms ability. Not only will you need to explore the game’s bright and colorful world, you will also need to take on Folded Soldiers in strategic battles if you wish to rescue the Princess and save the world.

The art style looks beautiful, and this will be the first time the series has released on the Nintendo Switch. If you wish to buy the game early, you can do so at the official Paper Mario: The Origami King website or preorder on Amazon.
