Little Hope, the second entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, is steeped in witchcraft lore. There is a ‘Dirty Little Secrets’ achievement or trophy tied to finding the 25 witchcraft secrets in Supermassive Games’ interactive horror title, but you might be struggling to find them all. If you are, read on to see the locations of each collectible.
Book of Paganism
After the bus crash and you take control of Taylor. Head back to the overturned bus and look for the book near the shattered windscreen.
Occult Flyer
After you chat with Vince in the Black Cat Bar. Head towards the exit and look on the table to your left.
War Photo
Before you leave the bar, look for the photograph on the floor.
Visitor’s Map
After leaving the bar, head left to the fenced picnic area, it’s in the far corner.
Runestones
This is easy to miss. After Daniel and Taylor drop down a ledge and see a building ahead of them, immediately turn around and use your flashlight to spot a narrow path on your left. Follow it around until you enter a shed. Pick up one of the stones on the altar.
Newspaper: Minister Arrested
Another that can be missed. Daniel has the option of entering the building using a dumpster or a stairwell. Use the stairwell. Walk out of the room you enter and follow the walkway until you see a gap in the floor that you can jump down. Before you do, head into the room on your right. Walk to the back wall to grab the paper.
Hippie Artifacts
In the police station. Head into the main room and walk until you see a ‘Gaol’ sign you can inspect on the wall. Head left and enter the left-hand room. Walk to the desk and interact with the cardboard box to find it.
Vandalized Statue
After leaving the police station:
- Use your flashlight to spot a plinth on the right next to a house.
- Interact with it and move the camera around to look down.
- Spot the broken bust on the grass to find the secret.
Stone Inscription
After Daniel and Taylor get separated from the group again. Follow the path until you come across a picnic area on your left. Turn right with the tables on your left and look for a narrow path you can take to the right. Follow it to find the inscription. Move the camera to look at the floor again to find the secret.
Lambert Writ
Inside the museum. As Andrew and John converse, look for the writ hanging on the wall. Examine it and pan the camera down to find a displaced sign on the floor. Pick it up to get the secret.
Mary’s Testimony
Head into the room with the hanging dummies and look for a picture of Amy on your left. Interact with it and pan the camera down.
Mary’s Witness Statement
Walk into the next room and look on the wall to your left. Grab and pull back the covering to unearth the statement.
Courtroom Illustration
Walk towards the museum exit to find this secret on the left-hand wall. Grab and pull back the covering again to locate it.
Old Bible
This only works with Daniel in the museum. You can pick it up as Andrew, but he will only look over it and then set it back down. After you are reunited with Taylor following her vision, look for a table opposite you. Pick up the bible and examine it until Daniel opens it up. Turn the page to uncover this secret.
Tilly Johnson’s House
After leaving the museum as Taylor, walk down the road but hang to the right. A plaque for the house is on the side of the road.
Commencement Day Massacre
From the plaque, spin around and head over to the left side of the road. Pull back the wooden plank that is covering a plaque attached to a giant boulder.
Execution Site
Before you cross the road by the excavation site, use your flashlight to find a narrow path that leads up to the left. Follow it until you find the secret.
Church Photo
After the group has fled to the church to escape the demon. Immediately turn left in the doorway and look at the board with drawings on it. Interact with the photograph to lift its fallen corner to get the secret.
Homily
Walk right, but before you turn left to head towards the altar, enter the room to your right. The homily is in a drawer you can interact with.
Little Hope Pastors
The list of pastors is hanging on the wall to the right of the altar. You can’t miss it.
Mary’s Grave
Near to the Historic Restoration site. Take the left-hand path leading to this site, and you will come across a picnic area on your left. The plaque is in front of you.
Judge Wyman’s Portrait
Inside the shut down factory. Head down the stairs and turn right. Walk down the hallway until you can enter a small room on your left. Look for the wall on your right to find the portrait. Pan the camera down to see a displaced plaque on the floor. Pick it up to get the secret.
Judge Wyman’s Letter
In the same room, check the floor by a shelf of trophies and some rubble.
Reverend Carson’s Letter
The final witchcraft secret is in the burned down house. After you see Megan walk up the stairs, head to the back of the house. Go through the doorway on your left into the dining room. Head to the back wall to find the secret on a cabinet.
