Kingdom Come Deliverance Next Two Patches Rework Saves And Minigames

Kingdom Come Deliverance is updating with two patches in the next few days: the first is releasing today, while the second will come soon with some of the most requested features, like a rework of saving & exit and improvements for few minigames.

Kingdom Come Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios has provided a deeper look at what’s next for the open world, realistic medieval RPG for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A first patch will arrive today and will bring the game up to version 1.2.5. A second is coming and will carry it to the 1.3.

Kingdom Come Deliverance New Patches Detail

Patches are featuring fixes to quests and combat in the first place, while – for the second fix in particular – we’re talking about the highly requested “save and exit functionality”.

Players are demanding to rework it as it is too demanding in particular with those of us who don’t have time for longer sessions and would like to save freely as soon as they can. Same as the lockpicking minigame.

Hotfix – Version 1.2.5 (upcoming)

We already fixed some of the worst bugs and want to give these fixes to the community as fast as possible. Therefore we will push this to certification on Monday 2/19

  • Fix for R2 button being non-responsive in combat
  • Fix for issues in quests with Hans Capon
  • Fix for quest Ginger in a Pickle

Patch 1.3 – (upcoming)

This is the patch we are currently working on. It hasn’t been released on any platform yet. It’s mainly focused on bug-fixing as we are studiously going through every player report, watching every stream we can and fixing all the bugs as fast as possible. But apart from these fixes, we are working on the following features (Which is not a guaranteed delivery in this patch)

  • Save and Exit functionality
  • Lockpicking minigame controls improvement on controllers
  • Pickpocket minigame improvement
  • Alchemy recipe for respec potion
  • Many quest related bug fixes

Kingdom Come Deliverance has lots of issues of course, but I’m glad to see the developer is taking care of those as soon as they appear clear to the community – both when it comes to reworking features/content and bugs.

We’ll see how much time it will take to make these much-demanded changes and especially if they’ll be enough to respect the requests coming from the players in the first place.
