Hideki Kamiya Finally Explains Bayonetta 3 Nintendo Switch Exclusive Deal

Hideki Kamiya finally explain the status of Bayonetta 3 Nintendo Switch exclusive deal. In a 15 series tweet, Kamiya clarified that Nintendo is funding the development of Bayonetta 3 and so the game is going to release exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

When Bayonetta 3 was first announced, it was revealed that the game will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. And many fans of the series had a differentiating opinion about that. Even fans took up on Twitter to ask whether or not Bayonetta 3 will be getting a PS4 version, to which Kamiya had responded negatively.

And now in a 15 series Tweet, Hideki Kamiya of Platinum games has explained the reason behind, why the game is a Switch exclusive. As you can see from the series of Tweets, Platinum games with the financial support of SEGA, published the first chapter, Bayonetta, which was available on all platforms including the Wii U, at that time.

However, Bayonetta 2 became a Nintendo exclusive as SEGA decided to cancel the development of the game, and Nintendo game to the rescue providing the financial support for completing the development and making it a Nintendo exclusive.

And now the rights of the game are owned both by SEGA and Nintendo, according to Kamiya, who also hints about a PS4 version of the game as well.
