New job listings reveal more details about the new remake in the making at Bluepoint Games, the studio behind (among the others) Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the more recent Shadow of the Colossus.

According to the job listing, the game in question is going to be released on both current and next-generation systems, which are not necessarily set to be PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 only (the releases could be multi-platform).

“Our team is passionately remaking a classic for current- and next-gen game systems. Want to be part of making something special?,” says the job listing, which ResetEra user Toumari is quite convinced about being Demon’s Souls.

“Create animation with a good sense of physics, realistic movement, and animation principles to serve as a benchmark,” the lead 3D animator listing reports, which is indeed quite suspiciously hinting at something like the Souls.

“A demo reel reflecting high-quality animations for both humans and creatures,” adds the listing, so it’s likely going to be a fantasy title. Senior 3D Environment Artist listing also suggests there’s likely to be a Photo Mode in there.

So, what is this really going to be about? Is it finally time for the much anticipated and rumored Demon’s Souls remake for PS4 and PS5? Or something entirely different to be dropped on multiple platforms? Tell us your idea in the comments below.
