A Fable reboot has been rumored for a long while now and with E3 2019 about to kick off chances are that it finally shows up at the Xbox media briefing.
In the meantime, something quite weird has happened on Mixer, where a “Fable IV” game has appeared out of nowhere.
It could mean that Microsoft is already preparing things up to have a trailer streaming on its Twitch-like platform.
And that could mean that a trailer for Fable IV, or whatever it is called, could be really showing up at E3 2019 in June.
Latest rumors talk about Playground Games working on the title, with a second team that has been worked upon over the last few years and has admittedly been developing an open world game.
On top of that, the number “IV” is a bit unexpected to be coming together with the name “Fable,” as it has been rumored the newest one is set to be a reboot and not a follow up to Fable III.
Anyway, it could be just a placeholder to make it clear that the streaming was all about the latest game and not the original from Lionhead Studios.
For the time being this is it, but sure enough, expect more to come as we get closer and closer to E3; Xbox media briefing kicks off on June 9.
