The Kraken wonder weapon in Voyage of Despair is an enormous explosive gun, fed to you by a tentacle in Black Ops 4 Zombies. Voyage of Despair Kraken Guide – Acquiring the Chest Key
So the first thing you need to do is get a key for a treasure chest. There’s only one way to get a key, and it doesn’t drop every single time, so this may take a few tries. You need to kill a Stoker by shooting its glowing spots – they indicate the weak points. Once you kill a Stoker by shooting its weak spots, there’s a chance it will drop a key.

What chest does the key open? It can spawn in one of five locations:
- Galley
- Mail Room
- Turbine Room
- State Rooms
- Provisions
When you find it, open it up and move on to the next step.

Think of the chest as a living thing that feeds on zombies. Once you find the chest at the first location, kill a zombie right in front of it. The chest will teleport to one of the other locations. Do this three times in total, and an item will appear inside the chest – pick it up.

This last step is pretty simple. You’ll have gotten either a telescope or a compass from the chest. Depending on which one you got, head outside and look at the cardboard boxes placed by the edges of the boat. If you got a telescope, head to the Poop Deck. If you got a compass, you want to go to the Boat Deck. When you find a replica of your item sat on a cardboard box, an enormous tentacle should appear from under the ocean and drop the Kraken wonder weapon on the cardboard box for you. Voila! You now have the Kraken wonder weapon on Black Ops 4 Zombies’ Voyage of Despair.
