Let’s start at the beginning. For those interested in unlocking costumes, it’s up to the player and their performance in the game. When a player completes a file, they’re going to get graded on their performance in the game. More likely than not, they’re going to increase in rank after this review process. When the player increases in rank, they’re going to receive a new piece of clothing they can wear, along with a health boost. The better player does during their Files, the more clothing and health they’re going to have access to later on in the game.
There are additional ways to unlock other, more unique clothing pieces and alternative colors for them, by completing orders. These are side missions you can choose to take on in Astral Chain. They are not a requirement, but they’re a great way to gather up additional resources you’re going to need while playing the game and expand your character’s appearance options. You should spend a little time away from the main missions to go through them. You’ll find yourself surprised how many more clothing options you’re going to have by finishing these up.
Players who get a higher score at the end of their summary are going to unlocking some of the better clothing options. So, make sure to complete the File doing the most things that are going to give you a huge score. Reply through them if you have to, especially on a greater difficulty when you master Astral Chain‘s challenging combat.
