Recommended Videos

Despite being in a rather niche genre, the Just Dance series has been going strong with a variety of songs to dance to. The concept of the game is simple; mimic the characters’ moves onscreen using motion controls or an associated smartphone app. The series has sold millions of copies worldwide with 11 main series titles and several spinoffs added to its name.

As the 11th mainline title in the series, what does Just Dance 2020 have in store this time? Here is everything you need to know about Just Dance 2020.

Song List

Like with previous installments, Just Dance 2020 will feature a variety of songs ranging from the 1970s to 2010s. There are also multiple genres, including Pop, Rock, R&B, and once again, K-Pop. Songs included in the game are:

  • 7 Rings – Ariana Grande
  • High Hopes – Panic! at the Disco
  • I Like It – Cardi B, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin
  • I Am the Best – 2NE1
  • Kill This Love – Blackpink

Many other songs will be in the game, which can be found on the official Just Dance YouTube channel, where it also shows previews of the songs’ choreographies. With over 40 songs, it is sure to be a big party!

Consoles

Just Dance 2020 will be released on the five consoles:

  • Xbox One
  • PlayStation 4
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Nintendo Wii
  • Google Stadia

You are reading that right; even after the end of the Nintendo Wii U’s run, Just Dance 2020 will still be available to buy for the Nintendo Wii. The game will also be the first to be released on Google Stadia so that the series will have a new start there. For those without an Xbox One Kinect or PlayStation Move, you will still be able to play the game with a smartphone. It is a win for everyone!

Gameplay Features

Just Dance 2020 will feature a new game mode titled All-Stars Mode, where you progress through 10 planets as a throwback adventure throughout the Just Dance franchise. You will play songs from previous games, such as Rasputin and California Girls. This can be considered a “story mode” for the Just Dance game, and it is a step up for the game.

Once you finish All-Stars Mode, you will unlock an exclusive song. That song is currently unknown, but it might be an exciting one to unlock after completing the game mode. For lasting over ten years, Ubisoft made the right call in adding a fun mode like this for the new Just Dance game.

Other features the game will have to include a co-op mode, bringing players together to earn a high score, and such. Meanwhile, Kids Mode makes a return, where young ones can play to kid-friendly songs and offer a dancing experience they can get into.

Just Dance Unlimited

The Just Dance Unlimited subscription service makes a return in Just Dance 2020. With this feature, you will be able to play most of, if not all, songs from the previous Just Dance games. There are options for a subscription, ranging from a day, month, and year. A brand new copy of the Just Dance 2020 game will include access to the service for a month, so you will get a taste of what it has to offer with over 500 songs to dance to!

For Just Dance 2020, the subscription service will include exclusive songs such as:

  • 10.000 Luchtballonnen – K3
  • Djadja – Aya Nakamura
  • Spinning (Кружит) – Monatik

So if you are looking to unleash your inner dancer, Just Dance 2020 is undoubtedly the dance game you, friends, and family can enjoy. With a variety of music to dance to, a brand new game mode to make the recent title stand out, and an increasing amount of exclusive songs in Just Dance Unlimited, this will be the ultimate party of 2019.

Just Dance 2020 will be released worldwide on November 5th for the Nintendo Wii, Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. On November 19th, it will be released for the Google Stadia.
