How many people can be in a match of Outbreak in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies?

How many people will have your back when the Outbreak begins?

Outbreak is a brand new mode coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies. It will test players with achieving the main objective set in a gigantic map, the scope of which Zombies players have not seen before. With so much space available and an army of undead continually coming after you, will you have access to a bigger squad of Requiem operatives on your side? Here is how many people can play a game of Outbreak at a time in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Wars Zombies.

When you jump into a game of Outbreak, you will be going in with the usual four-person squad you would see in a traditional match on any other Zombies map like Firebase Z and Die Maschine. While there is a lot more room for your group to be separated, you will need to work together to accomplish your tasks and survive the Ural Mountains’ gigantic influx of Dark Aether portals.

At first look, Outbreak can appear to be a lot to undertake. The map could be interpreted as battle royale sized for Zombies, and tons of aspects from previous maps are bleeding into the gameplay. From returning wonder weapons to boss zombies rearing their ugly mugs again, you will have a lot to contend with at a time. All your four-person squad has to defend yourselves is whatever you can loot in the area.

At this time of writing, it is unknown if you can play the mode solo (or if it is even recommended). We will update this post when more information becomes available.
