With Sonic Origins bringing back the classic Sonic the Hedgehog gameplay that 90s kids love and grew up with, there are some features that that era of gaming didn’t have regularly available. The Anniversary Mode of each title in Sonic Origins added nice accessibility features that will improve the experience, but the level selection is not readily here. That being said, it is available. Here is how to find the level select in each Sonic Origins game.

How to do level select codes in Sonic Origins

We are going off of the Xbox controller layout for each of the codes below. For PlayStation users, just switch A out with X.

At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, and A quickly.

Not only will this open up the level selection for you, but you will also have access to various options in Origins, like deciding if you want the spin dash or not, what game’s set of items will appear, and a sound test.

Sonic CD

As of this writing, we have not found a working code to get into the level select for Sonic CD. There is a Time Attack mode that lets you play any zone you want but does not place you in that location for the main game. If you find a code to get a proper level select, please email [email protected].
