How to get more Peeps in Before We Leave

Everyone loves Peeps.

Peeps are the lifeblood of your game in Before We Live. They do all the building, researching, farming, and everything else you need. When you plan on firing people off into space to find fresh places to live, it will be Peeps who lead the way.

At first, there will only be a few Peeps willing to come out of the bunker at the center of the map. You will need to build up a town, and the supply lines that Peeps need to live. Funnily enough, you need your Peeps to work hard if you plan on increasing the number of Peeps in your town.

The first thing you will need to do is build some houses. This can be done by clicking on the small person icon in the bottom left, then clicking on the house icon that pops up. Now you will be able to place a house. The house needs to be placed beside a road, so make sure you put it carefully so as not to block other routes.

Now, each basic house can support two Peeps, so you will need to figure out how many Peeps you want, divide it by two, and that is how many houses you need.

Peeps need more than just homes, however. They also need food and water. Click on the Fields and Wells tab, which is right beside the tab you already used to build the houses.

Now you need to place some fields for food and wells for water. Once again, how many you need is dictated by the population of your town. If you want to check how much food your town is using, click on the small smiley face icon in the upper-middle of the screen. This will show you if you are running a food surplus or a deficit. It will take some time to figure out exactly how much food you need.
