You don’t have to go through too many steps to acquire the Test Your DIY Skills recipe. You can purchase them from Tommy and Timmy’s shop, Nook’s Cranny when it’s available for you to buy. It’s located in the cabinet on the far left side of the shop, in the back. Investigate it and see what the two of them have it for sale. If it’s there, you can pick it up for 2,680 Bells. Some players have reported it doesn’t always show up when the shop opens up, so if you don’t see it make sure to check back daily to see what they have to offer you.

You receive these items for the recipe:

  • Mini DIY Workbench
  • Ringtoss
  • Rocking Chair
  • Swinging Bench
  • Wooden-block chair
  • Wooden-block bookshelf
  • Wooden-block stereo

These recipes require a variety of materials. You may want to stockpile the necessary items, such as wood, softwood, and iron nuggets. A handful of them requires the wooden-block toy recipe, which is not in the recipe book. You will need to find that elsewhere.
