Borderlands 3‘s DLC Guns, Love, and Tentacles allows you to explore a brand new planet in the galaxy, Xylourgos. You are invited to this location by Hammerlock and Wainwright as they have decided to have their wedding on the frozen wasteland. A notable shotgun you receive by partaking in this adventure is the Cure Shotgun.
The Cure Shotgun is of the very rare weapon category, and it’s a powerful addition to your growing arsenal. If you land a critical hit with it against an opponent, a bullet ricochets off to hit the nearest enemy, making it an ideal choice for adversaries that clump together. Obtaining this weapon is pretty straightforward, too.
All you need to do is progress through the story of the DLC. During the quest The Case of Wainwright Jakobs, you and Wainwright will investigate where the wedding venue is supposed to take place and interrupt a ritual. Eventually, an eldritch-like ring will find its way to Wainwright’s hand, and when you take him back to the lodge, it’s obvious he’s steadily starting to transform. You have to remove the ring, but its power is turning Wainwright into a different individual. To prevent him from acting against others, he hands you his trusty weapon, which is the Cure Shotgun. The weapon’s power will match whatever level you are at that time. From there, you can freely use it as one of your trusty weapons.
There are plenty of things to do in Guns, Love, and Tentacles. There’s a new pink icon in the game many players are trying to figure out what it does. During your adventure, you can expect to find other legendary weapons along the way, so make sure to explore Xylourgos to discover all of the new secrets.
