How to get to the gym in Sims 4

Send your Sim to the gym so they can workout and increase their overall fitness

Taking care of your Sim in Sims 4 is essential to ensuring they have all of their needs met. Not only do you need to have a stable form of income for them, but you need to make sure they’re eating healthy, sleeping well, have enough entertainment, and have the proper amount of exercise. You can easily get your Sim fit by having them visit their local gym.

To have your Sim head to a gym, you need to travel around your town. You can start traveling by clicking the M key, by clicking on the phone at the lower-left part of the screen, or by clicking the map located on the right side of your screen. Before traveling, you want to make sure to highlight the correct Sim you wish to transport to the gym.

After clicking you want to travel, you switch to a new screen to view the several locations you can send your Sim to visit, such as the park, a coffee shop, a library, a recreational center, or a gym. Click on the gym, and they should immediately transport over to the location. When they arrive to the gym, your Sim has several options available to them to work out, such as using a treadmill, weights, a punching bag, or a swimming pool if there’s one available.

The area your Sims is traveling in does need to have a gym available, though. If your city does not have a gym, then your Sim needs to travel to a location where there is one to visit it. Most traditional towns should have one. If you do not have a gym in your town, you need to purchase workout equipment for your Sim and place them somewhere in your home. These devices are a bit expensive, but you can place them in your home, so you can have your Sim workout whenever they have the time for it.

Working out is a critical feature for your Sim to make sure they stay fit, and visiting the gym in their town helps you save money rather than purchasing equipment. Make sure you don’t work them too hard, though. You don’t want them utterly exhausted before they start a day of work.
