How to reunite Achilles and Patroclus in Hades

Reunited and it feels so good.

One of the many love stories for you to pursue in Hades is that between Achilles and Patroclus, two warriors who have been kept apart due to Achilles’ contract with Hades. Luckily, Zag can change that and set out to reunite the long-lost lovers after following some specific steps. You can keep reading to find out how to do this below.

How to reunite Achilles and Patroclus

You will want to know where each character is. Achilles can be found in the House of Hades, after taking a left from where you spawn after every run. Patroclus can be found in a chamber in Elysium.

Once you know where they are, you will need to max out your relationship with each one by giving them Nectar. Doing so will continue unlocking conversations with each character where you will learn the nature of their relationship and find out how much they miss each other.

Eventually, Patroclus will ask you to tell Achilles to “risk it all.” When you return to the House and pass the message on, Achilles will reflect on it and eventually ask Zag to change his contract so he can visit Patroclus in Elysium.

This means you need the Administrative Chamber to be unlocked, which can be a random process. You will need to wait for a time between runs when Zag mentions resting for a bit. This can trigger a flashback scene where you enter the chamber. Finishing this scene will let you purchase the chamber for three Diamonds.

After purchasing it, you will need to max out your relationship with Nyx, who will eventually tell you the location of the contract in the Administrative Chamber. Head in and you will find it, waiting for you. When you pick it up, you will be told that it is available at the House Contractor.

Do a quick run and it will appear in the Contractor’s store for five Diamonds. Buy it and talk to Achilles, which will prompt him to head out for Elysium. Simply head there, find Patroclus’ chamber and watch as the two are reunited and the quest is completed.
