Astral Chain: How to Unlock File 12

Astral Chain has a partially hidden extra chapter, known as File 12. In this guide we will show you how to unlock File 12.

Astral Chain consists of 11 Chapters, or Files, that you play through throughout the game. They are a mix of clue finding and mystery-solving, combined with the game’s intense combat with your Legion. There is also a partially hidden File 12, in the form of an epilogue once the main game is complete. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock it.

Astral Chain: How To Unlock File 12

The first thing you need to do is finish the primary story campaign by playing through all 11 Files. Once this is done, and after the end credits, you have the option to save your game. Do so, and then exit to the main menu. Now, select the option to load the save file, and you get loaded directly into File 12.

File 12 consists of various challenges given to you by Olive, so feel free to go at them at your own pace. Once you finish with File 12, it might be time to try and challenge yourself on the combat front. Unless you already played through the game on the hardest difficulty. After you finish any of the Files, you unlock the option to play it on the hardest difficulty, known as Ultimate PT. If you want an authentic challenge after File 12, it is a good idea to take on the game at this difficulty level.

You will need to have mastered the combat system to stand a chance of surviving, however.
