How to use the Rotom Bike in The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield

Speed through The Isle of Armor's dusty trails.

You will find yourself with a brand new area to explore when you first arrive at the Isle of Armor region in Pokémon Sword and Shield‘s first DLC. When you step foot off the train, you can make moving around the island far more comfortable with the use of your Rotom Bike. Before you start to use it, you can also add some new colors and flair to it exclusively available in the DLC.

You will use your Rotom Bike as you usually do from the base game by clicking on the “-” symbol on your Nintendo Switch. Clicking it summons your Rotom Bike giving you far more speed than you traditionally would by merely running around. You can also give your Rotom Bike a brief boost by clicking the “B” button, but this ability does need to charge after you initially use it.

When you make your way out of the train station shortly after starting The Isle of Armor, the game wants you to make your way to the Master Dojo. However, before you step into the Master Dojo, speak to the construction worker standing to the left of the building. They will offer you a new set of colors for your bicycle. You can choose between Glistening White and Glistening Black. The glistening color gives your Rotom Bike some additional flair, lighting it up, and adds a color trail behind your bicycle.

The Rotom Bike is an essential tool in Pokémon Sword and Shield to quickly travel between locations. Make sure to give yourself the chance to use it as early as possible, and speak to the construction worker to cosmetically enhance it even further.
