Is Gallade good in Pokémon Go?

How good is it?

For those looking to use a Pokémon that reliably does well in the Master League in Pokémon, Gallade is a good choice. It’s a reliable option, and we’ve broken down if you should choose Gallade over Gardevoir and Gallade’s best moveset. But why is it good, and what makes it stand out from other Pokémon?

Gallade is a Fighting and Psychic-type Pokémon. It will be weak to Fairy, Flying, and Ghost-type attacks, but it’s resistant to Fighting and Rock-type moves. For PvP, it has a maximum CP of 3,093, an attack of 199, a defense of 165, and a stamina of 145. For PvE, it has an attack of 237, a defense of 195, and a stamina of 169.

The big downside to Gallade is its lower defense and stamina stats. It won’t last long in a fight, even against Pokémon not very effective against it. You have to be careful about using it. If you use it too early, it’ll be taken out. If you throw it out as your last Pokémon, it can fight pretty well, but it’s simple for an opponent to tip the scales against you if they have any shields left or have two Pokémon left. You have to place Gallade in your team and use it to support your other two choices’ weaknesses. Don’t build your team around it.

Gallade can take out critical Master League Pokémon like Melmetal, Dialga, Mamoswine, Reshiram, and Swampert. If your team’s one weakness is against Melmetal, Gallade is your go-to choice. Melmetal is a powerful Pokémon, but it will crumble when facing Gallade if you use it correctly.

The same applies to raids for Gallade. It’s stronger and has increased defense and stamina stats and even more attack strength. It’s a reliable choice, although we’d avoid using a full team of Gallade. You want a few robust options that can still withstand several hits and can remain in the fight.

Overall, we highly recommend Gallade. It’s a powerful Pokémon, and if you think about how your team complements Gallade, you’ll succeed. You want to make sure you don’t use it immediately, and you can use it to drain an opponent’s shields by using its low energy charged moves.
