In this guide we will show you how to easily (with some practice) farm Rupees in Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch.
Rupees! Those little gems you get from cutting grass and smashing pots in Link’s Awakening are critical. You are going to need a lot of them, too. Like, a LOT of them.
There is a way to gather them up reasonably quickly, but you will need some Rupees to get started with this method.
How To Farm Rupees
To farm rupees, make your way to Mabe Village, and head for the Claw Game show on the map above. Here, you can play the claw game for 10 Rupees each time. The good news is that the rewards should contain a value of Rupees higher than that. If you are fortunate, you will see a crystal worth 50 Rupees on offer.
Spend your then Rupees, grab the crystal, then let the game reset by leaving and repeat. You need to get pretty good at the game to make this worthwhile, but it is an easy way to get a lot of Rupees.
After that, every blade of crash and plant that you see. Smash pots, and kill enemies, as they can all reward Rupees. Open chests that you see around the world. These can also get you crystals worth anywhere from five to fifty Rupees. Every little helps, and even though you need a lot of them, they can build up fast when you are always picking them up in small amounts.
