Link’s Awakening is here, putting a new twist on a classic game and bringing it to the Nintendo Switch. You’ll be helping Link to explore a strange island he washed up on after getting caught in a storm.

After being found on the beach by some locals, they bring you back to Mabe Village and nurse you back to health. After that, it is up to you to solve the secrets of the island if you ever hope to leave.

Save Game

You can save your game at any time in Link’s Awakening. Just hit the “+” button to bring up the main menu screen. From there, hit R to go to the System screen. You will find two buttons with the “Save” and “Load” options.

Click on “Save,” select your file save slot, and you are good to go. You can save your game at any time, and it doesn’t even work off a checkpoint system. You will load back to the same circumstances that you saved at before.

Remember to save your game often, especially during suspicious moments that feel like they might be a trap.
