It’s a new challenge day in Mario Kart Tour! One of those challenges is to land ten hits with Boomerangs! Like lots of the challenges, this one boils down to which driver you use.

Mario Kart Tour – How To Land 10 Hits With Boomerangs

The following drivers all have the Boomerang as their special ability:

  • Larry
  • Baby Mario
  • Baby Luigi

As you can see, it is a reasonably limited pool of drivers, so if you don’t have either of them, you should check the shop to see if they can be purchased for gold, or if you want to get them, you can use Rubies to fire the pipe.

To make this challenge easier, you should use Larry on Kalimari Desert R, and Baby Mario on Mario Circuit 1T, and Waluigi Pinball. You can also use Baby Luigi on Luigi’s Mansion R. They can get a Frenzy on those tracks, and if you are lucky and can get a Frenzy of your special skill, you will be able to spam Boomerangs for a short duration.

Even if you can’t get the Frenzy, the increasing number of items they can get on these courses gives them a better chance of getting the Boomerang from an item box. It is a good idea to try and stay close to a pack of drivers for this, as the Boomerang will spin around your kart, hitting nearby enemies, allowing you to get multiple hits with the same Boomerang. As such, I would suggest the 150cc race, as the racers tend to stay more tightly grouped.

And that’s it! You have the full week to do this challenge, as you don’t need to land all ten hits in the same race, making it easier to do.
