Pokémon GO Celebi Quest Guide: How to Catch Celebi

The time has come to help Professor Willow once again. Help him in this Special Research to find and catch Celebi, the Mythical Pokémon.

The Pokémon GO Celebi quest is a Special Research quest adventure that leads to discovering the Mythical Pokémon Celebi. Professor Willow has entrusted you to help him with eight quest steps that will lead to an amazing discovery. Once you have finished each step, you will receive helpful rewards.

Pokémon GO Celebi Quest: A Ripple in Time

Step 1

Requirements:

• Power up Pokémon five times.
• Battle in a gym two times.
• Battle in a raid.

Rewards:

• 10 Pokéballs
• 1 Fast TM
• 1 Super Incubator

Tips: The first step is relatively easy to complete. If you don’t want to spend a lot of Stardust, I recommend powering up lower CP Pokémon.

Step 2

Requirements:

• Make three new friends.
• Evolve an evolved Grass-type Pokémon.
• Catch a Pokémon three days in a row.

Rewards:

• 1 Sun Stone evolution item.
• 1,500 Stardust
• 1 Premium Raid Pass

Tips: Evolving a Grass-type Pokémon again sounds tricky, but it isn’t. Merely evolve an Ivysaur, Bayleaf, Weepinbell, Lombre, Nuzleaf, Skipbloom, Gloom, or Grovyle to its final form. Step 3

Requirements:

• Use a Sun Stone to evolve Gloom or Sunkern.
• Reach Level 25.
• Hatch 9 eggs.

Rewards:

• 1 King’s Rock evolution item.
• Eevee Encounter.
• 1 Premium Raid Pass.

Tips: Receiving the Sun Stone from the previous quest will help you complete this one. You can gain evolution items from your seven-day streak of PokéStops or random drops from PokéStops.

Step 4

Requirements:

• Evolve Eevee into Espeon during the day.
• Walk 10km with Eevee as your buddy to earn Candy.
• Send 20 gifts to Friends.

Rewards:

• 1 Metal Coat evolution item.
• Eevee Encounter.
• 2,500 Stardust

Tips: Eevee must be walked, and candy must be earned during this quest. If you walk Eevee beforehand, it will not count towards the progress.

Step 5

Requirements:

• Walk 10km with Eevee as your buddy to earn candy.
• Evolve Eevee into Umbreon at night.
• Trade a Pokémon.

Rewards:

• 1 Star Piece.
• 15 Pinap Berry.
• 1 Upgrade evolution item.

Tips: Just like the previous step. Make sure you are walking your Eevee when the quest is active for it to count towards your 10km and candy.

Step 6

Requirements:

• Visit PokéStops seven days in a row.
• Use 25 Pinap Berries while catching Pokémon.
• Use items to evolve Pokémon two times.

Rewards:

• 5 Silver Pinap Berry.
• 1 Dragon Scale evolution item.
• 3,500 Stardust.

Tips: Gaining those previous evolution items will be helpful to complete this step of the quest. Pokémon that evolve using evolution items are Onix, Scyther, Seadra, Gloom, Sunkurn, Slowpoke, Poliwhirl, and Porygon. The Silver Pinab Berry is a new item you can use to increase the amount of candy and chance of catching a Pokémon.

Step 7

Requirements:

• Catch 40 Grass or Psychic type Pokémon.
• Earn a Gold Johto medal.
• Make an excellent curve-ball throw.

Rewards:

• Celebi encounter.
• 1 Charge TM.
• 10 Silver Pinap Berry

Tips: Try and find a Grass or Psychic type nest, so catching them will be a breeze. Seek out larger Pokémon for your excellent curve-ball throw.

Step 8

Requirements:
