As you play through Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you will have to decide between visiting Zeffo or Dathomir. To help you make up your mind, here are a few things you should know.

Should You Go To Zeffo or Dathomir In Jedi: Fallen Order?

Zeffo

Zeffo is an easier planet, and will also give you a new ability, and some upgrades, which is always nice. It also lines up better with the story. Zeffo is the option that makes sense for the vast majority of players.

Dathomir

Dathomir is a difficult planet, and having some extra abilities and upgrades doesn’t hurt your efforts to survive here. Heading straight to Dathomir isn’t the best idea for most people. If you love a challenge, though, this might be fun for you. For the rest of us, the story will bring us to Dathomir at a time when we are better equipped to handle the challenge it represents. The main reason to head to Dathomir first would be for a Lightsabre upgrade, but the enemies you will need to fight to get it are tough, and it might skew the difficulty a bit in other areas. If you take the Zeffo route, you can arrive on Dathomir with a Lightsabre upgrade already, which will help a lot on this challenging planet.

Throughout the story, you will end up visiting both planets, so the actual order you visit them in doesn’t matter too much. You won’t miss out if you pick one of them over the other.

Which place to go comes down to what kind of gamer you are, or what kind of Jedi you wish your version of Cal to be. Are you playing the cautious type? Then Zeffo is the place for you. A hot-headed Anakin type would set course for Dathomir and never look back.
