You’ll want to see what the game automatically placed into the recommended settings for your major graphics choices, located on the left side. For those who are still having trouble loading in, try lowering the levels of the tree, grass, terrain, building, shadow, and unit details down to Medium. You’ll find this a good starting point to see what’s causing the issue or giving you any issues. If none of these assists, start lowering the texture quality, VFX details, and make sure you have V-sync on. Moving these down to the High or Medium settings should make things easier on your PC.

For those who are still encountering issues with their Total War Three Kingdoms game, you may to exit the game and double-check you’ve updated your graphics card. You may find you missed the latest update for the game, and this could be causing the issues you’re experiencing. If this was true, go back into the game and start raising those graphics back up to see what you can and can’t handle. The smaller details, like tree and grass textures, should be last on your list to turn back up, including building, terrain and unit options.
