What is the release date of Mass Effect Legendary Edition?

Not long to wait.

It has been 14 years since the original Mass Effect release, and the main series has seen two sequels and a spin-off. Now it is time for the series to be reborn, bigger and better than ever. The good news is that you don’t have much longer to wait before you can get your hands on Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will release for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on May 14. The game will be available via Origin and Steam on PC, and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with forward compatibility for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.

The Legendary Edition is also stacked with content, containing all three single-player campaigns and over 40 DLCs that include story content, weapons, and armor packs. The games will be playable at 4K resolution and with HDR where supported.

In great news for fans of consistency everywhere, all three games will share a single character creator suite, meaning that the Sherpard you build in the first game will look the same in the last game. The character creator will also feature expanded options for hair, makeup, and skin tones.

Mass Effect is one of those interesting series where fans display all the passion of a cult classic following, but they number in the millions. The series has sold millions of copies of each title to eager fans who wanted to continue the advantages of Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy.

At the heart of the series is some heartfelt relationships between all the characters, and some tough choices that need to be made by the player. This would appear to be a true remaster, and will be the perfect jumping off point for any gamer out there who has yet to experience the series.
