The official picture, shown above, details a variety of notable Pokémon Go references, such as Team Rocket stolen PokéStops, Galarian Pokémon, Libre Pikachu, Reshiram and Zekrom, and upcoming Mega Evolutions. You can likely spot the three starters from the Kalos region, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. They’re hidden all over the image, leaning towards a massive hint that we could see their arrival pretty soon. We also receive another reference to the upcoming release for Team Rock balloons in the background, which should release on July 7, according to a new email from Pokémon Go developers about a big day for Team Rocket.

We could likely see more Pokémon from the Kalos region arriving around Pokémon Go Fest 2020. The fourth-anniversary image was released to help excite the upcoming event. It’s likely participants could encounter Pokémon from the sixth generation during their time at the virtual event, which occurs from July 25 to 26. After the event, these Pokémon could become readily available to everyone, and we can expect to see more Pokémon from this region becoming a more regular sight for trainers.
