A new cinematic trailer shows there’s more to Just Cause 4 than explosions, but features plenty of explosions.
Just Cause 4 hopes to continue the series’ trademark freedom of play and destruction when Rico Rodriguez visits Solis, a fictional South American world, on December 4, 2018, on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Square Enix has released a beautifully rendered cinematic trailer featuring “I’m Just (Remix)” by Artizan, which is one of four custom tracks created especially for Just Cause 4.
The two-minute Eye of the Storm trailer features plenty of stunning visual scenes topped off with Just Cause‘s trademark destruction of, well, everything in sight. There’s no doubt that Just Cause 4 is looking to push the envelope when it goes live later this year, and having seen some of the destructive features first-hand at E3 and Pax, I can safely say that lots of things will go boom!
We can expect new ways of accomplishing Rico’s tasks as trademark parachute, wingsuit and, of course, his grapple hook return. All tools are now enhanced with new functionality and fully customizable, allowing gamers to become very creative in their ways to destroy things.
This high-octane CGI trailer is produced and directed by Visual Works in collaboration with Director’s Duo. The title track, ‘I’m Just (Remix)’ by Artizan, is one of four tracks created available now for digital download. The full Just Cause album releases on December 4 to tie in with the release of the game.
Just Cause 4 will be released on December 4, 2018, on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
