Who are the announcers for WWE 2K Battlegrounds?

Hopefully there will be a few 'Mamma Mia' lines from Mauro.

Traditionally, WWE video games have featured not just wrestlers from the world of the World Wrestling Entertainment promotion, but also its announcers as well. On August 27, Take-Two announced that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and Mauro Ranallo will be the commentators in WWE 2K Battlegrounds, as they will be the two tasked with calling the virtual action as it happens.

Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler is no stranger to fans of WWE and enthusiasts of WWE-based video games. Not only was the WWE Hall of Famer an accomplished wrestler and commentator, but Lawler was also the featured color commentator in WWE games throughout much of the 2000s and early 2010s.

‘The King’ will be joined alongside current NXT play-by-play commentator Mauro Ranallo. Ranallo, who also does play-by-play for Showtime Championship Boxing, will be making his WWE video game announcing debut.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds launches on September 18 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia.
