Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will have X-Men characters as DLC. Here’s our list of characters we want in the X-Men DLC.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is Marvel’s fanboy’s dream come true. You were able to play as a team of the most popular superheroes from Marvel comics, and you fought against some of the most iconic villains in all of pop culture. We gave the game a positive review, which you can read here.

The DLC for the game will be released as a season pass; even though there are three DLC packs, players can only buy the DLC in one bulk. Meaning players cannot buy the DLC packs independently; they can only get the DLC through the season pass.

The DLC season pass is separated by three Marvel groups – the Marvel Knights, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. Even though X-Men characters are already in the game, the addition of more X-Men and Fantastic Four characters in the game’s roster is exciting news for fans.

For years, many different Marvel properties have sidelined the X-Men and Fantastic Four because Marvel Studios do not own the live-action rights for the characters. However, now that Marvel Studios do own the rights for the characters, the X-Men and Fantastic Four can return to providence in the other Marvel properties.

We already know which characters will be a part of the Marvel Knights DLC pack and that X-Men Cyclops and Colossus will be free DLC for the game. The X-Men encompasses a wide variety of different and unique heroes. Even though Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 already has four playable X-Men characters, plus Magneto and Deadpool, with two more X-Men characters coming as free DLC, we can’t help but imagine what other X-Men characters they will include in the X-Men DLC pack. We are spoiled like that.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: X-Men DLC Wishlist

Since the X-Men DLC will most likely only include four characters, we have four X-Men that we would like to see become DLC.

Beast

Beast is already in the game, so it only makes sense for him to be part of this wishlist. Unless Beast will be another free DLC character like Cyclops and Colossus, he needs to be in the X-Men DLC pack. Oddly, Beast would have a model in the game, yet isn’t playable in the game. Beast is an ultra-intelligent mutant who has the appearance of a blue beast. He is one of the original five X-Men in the comics and has been a prominent member of the team for decades. He also serves as an Avenger occasionally.

Iceman

Iceman, a mutant with powers to create and control ice, was a playable character in the first two Ultimate Alliance games. His exclusion in Ultimate Alliance 3 is felt, especially since there isn’t a hero in the game’s roster with ice powers. He deserves to return to the series, and hopefully, he will be a part of the X-Men DLC.

Jean Grey

If I can speak candidly, I love Jean Grey in comic books. Her central role in the iconic Dark Phoenix Sage is great, and her character has a fascinating history. Jean Grey is a telepath and can use telekinesis; she is also connected to an ancient entity labeled the Phoenix Force. The Phoenix Force is one of the most powerful entities in all of the Marvel Universe, and when bonded with Jean Grey, its power is almost limitless. Jean Grey has been playable in previous Ultimate Alliance games, and I want her to come back because I think the character has so much potential.

Rogue

Rogue is a mutant with the powers to absorb other people’s powers with a touch. She also drains the person of their life force, potentially killing them. For a while, she took the powers from Carol Danvers, the future Captain Marvel. She is popular due to her prominent role in the 90s X-Men cartoon, the 2000s X-Men Evolution cartoon, and in the live-action X-Men movies. Her southern accent and her skintight latex suit from the 90s have made her an enduring sex symbol to some fans.
