In the last mission Pouring Forth Oil, Arthur and his allies looted a train filled with rich passengers. They were also attacked by Lawmen. After escaping from the Law return to the camp and there locate and talk to Abigail to start A Fisher of Men Mission (Walkthrough) – it is a short mission, where you will be doing fishing with John Marston Son, Jack.

The requirements to earn Gold Medal form this mission are to catch a fish within 1 minute and 30 seconds and complete the entire mission within 7 minutes and 20 seconds.
Talk To Jack
Abigail is sitting in a tent reading something. Just go and talk to her and she will tell you to talk to Jack. He is playing with the grass near the place where you hitch horses. You have to invite Jack for fishing. Jack will collect his fishing pole, mount your horse and wait for him. Take him with you and follow the marker on the mini-map to reach the river for fishing. On your way Jack will also ask you to bring his Penny Dreadful storybook he left near a camp around Backwaters.
Start Fishing
Walk towards the river bank to start fishing, you will need to add bait. Open the weapon wheel and look in the fishing section for bait. Press L2 and then R2 to throw the hook in the water. You have to press R2 once you feel the fish bits the bait. Press L left or right to control the struggling fish and then press R when the fish is tired. Jack will ask for a break from fishing and after a short while he will tell you that he is going to pick some red flowers. You can fish if you want and he will show you a flower necklace.
Start Fishing
Two Pinkertons will interrupt you after a short while. They will tell you that they want Dutch. After a short while they will leave and you will also return to the camp. Take Jack back to the camp to Abigail. Arthur will inform Dutch about the Pinkertons.
If you had not played Pouring Forth Oil objective of train heist then a marker will appear on the map and you have to talk to John. If you had done with the objective then you can play the next main mission The Sheep and the Goats. Dutch will tell everyone to stay calm for a while.
