In Paradise Mercifully Departed Walkthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, Dutch and his gang is on a mission to get out of the Island ruled by Fussar. But it won’t be easy as they have to take down the guards and cannons which can destroy them.
In the previous Hell Hath No Fury, Dutch and Arthur assisted the rebels on the island to fight against Fussar’s army. In return, Hercule promised him a boat that can help them to flee the island. The next mission: Paradise Mercifully Departed, starts directly after this, you will get news that Fussar has the captain and he will not let the gang escape the island. So all decide to blow up the artillery and get the captain.
Paradise Mercifully Departed Walkthrough
For Gold Medal you will have to stealth kill first 2 sentries and then escort the captain to the boat within 1 minute and 45 seconds. Get 25 headshots and finish everything under 6 minutes and 45 seconds.
Follow Micah | Paradise Mercifully Departed
Once the mission begins Micah will inform Dutch about the captain issue, the gang will decide to simply take down the artillery and free the captain. Follow Micah’s instructions, for Gold avoid getting spotted. Micah will instruct you to kill one guy on your left and he will kill the second one. Plant the explosives on the cannon.
Destroy The Second Set Of Cannon | Paradise Mercifully Departed
Arthur will hide behind a rock, and you will get a call to walk towards the second set of a cannon. Follow the gang, for Gold Medal here you will need around 25 headshots. Keep moving slowly ahead, but kill the guards and then go. There are ample ruins around to cover, wait for Hercule’s call. He will also point towards the guards you cannot see. Like one in the tower. Soon you will reach the second set of cannon, do not just run in, there will be a guard coming up.
Hold Off The Guards | Paradise Mercifully Departed
Once you reach the second set of cannon, Dutch will command you to hold the guards. Micah will plan explosives. Follow Dutch who will take you to a hill from where you can easily spot and kill the guards in your way. Keep eye on the cornfield, once Micah is done with destroying the cannons, follow him.
Find & Escort The Captain | Paradise Mercifully Departed
Micah will blow up the cannon, follow him towards the worker’s compound. You will have to rescue the captain, you will see a big yellow spot in the mini-map. First thing shoots all the guards in your way, stay back and try to get a good view. Move slowly ahead when you are sure enough there are no guards left. The mini-map will show you the red spots. After killing all, Dutch will tell you to get the captain. He is in a cabin, you can loot the bodies first. Get into the blue house and you will see the captain on the floor, but someone will attack Arthur form the backside, and Dutch will point gun on him.
One more man will enter with a gun in this hand, he is Fussar. At this point, you will have two choices to kick the rifle towards Levi the captain on the floor or Dutch. Kick the rifle to Levi, he shoots one guy on your left and Fussar will run away. Follow Hercule and stop the enforcement, stay behind him he will tell you the guards location.
Kill Fussar | Paradise Mercifully Departed
Once you are far enough from the location, there will be a cutscene where you will see Fussar standing in a tower ahead of you. He will block your way by shooting explosives from a cannon. At the same time, you will have to fight the guards. Follow Hercule, he will give you a location of Cannon. Walk towards the yellow icon and use that to kill Fussar. Two shots and he is dead.
The fall of Fussar will trigger the ending cutscene of this mission. The gang will say adieu to their rebel friend and board the ship. On the ship the gang will discuss the plan on what to do next, Dutch will suggest splitting on the shore.
