All Penguin Souvenir locations – Destiny 2 – Reuniting the Eventide Rookery Triumphs

March of the Penguins.

One of the Triumphs to get the Splintered Title in Destiny 2 Season of the Hunt is “Reuniting the Eventide Rookery”. For this, you will need to track down nine Penguin Souvenirs and return them to their rightful home.

The Penguin Souvenirs will be added to the game over the course of the season, and in this guide, we will show you where to find them all.

Where to take the Penguin Souvenirs

When you find a Penguin Souvenir, you will need to bring it a room to the right of Variks’ hideout at Charon’s Crossing on Europa. In here, you can also find a hint as to the location of other Penguins, as long as they have been added to the game.

Read on to find the locations of all the Penguin Souvenirs that are currently in the game.

Penguin Souvenir #1 – Cadmus Ridge

The first Penguin Souvenir can be found in Cadmus Ridge. Make your way towards the big Vex structure and you will find a cave in the wall in the southeast of the area. Go inside and a yellowbar Wyvern and some other Vex will spawn. Take them all out and a shield in the back of the area will drop, allowing you to interact with the Penguin Souvenir and pick it up.

Penguin Souvenir #2 – Well of Infinitude

For the next Penguin, it is time to head for the Well of Infinitude, a place that could only have been named by Asher Mir. Go to the Asterion Abyss, then a hard right down the Vex tunnel toward Nexus. Go right, and head down into the Well of Infinitude.

You will need to keep going until you reach a long corridor that slants downwards shortly after you see the on-screen text that says Well of Infinitude. Just before you go down that tunnel, go left and you will find a small alcove with a shield wall. Interact with it to drop it, and you can grab the Penguin Souvenir.

Penguin Souvenir #3 – Eventide Ruins

This little chap can be found in the Eventide Ruins on Europa but is a little more involved than the first two. The first thing you will need to do is find a new, powerful Fallen enemy that hangs out near the platforms in front of the elevator that leads to Riis-Reborn Approach.

He is armed with a Scorch Cannon that you will need. Head for the area where the public events tend to happen, then go up to the elevator. Instead of heading upward toward Riss-Reborn Approach, continue down that platform instead. The enemy can be found down there.

Kill him, then take the Scorch Cannon. Now, don’t just start blasting, you will need a round to get the Penguin Souvenir. Make your way towards the building that houses the entrance to the Bunker E15 Lost Sector and go inside. There are a few entrances, but you are looking for the one that leads up some steps, from a hole in the wall. Just before you go up the steps look to the right, and you will see a suspiciously shaped block of ice. Blast it with the Scorch Cannon to reveal the Penguin.

Penguin Souvenir #4 – Bray Exoscience

This new one can be found in Bray Exoscience, an area of the game that everyone should be familiar with from their time in the campaign. It’s a lot easier to find that last week’s very tricky one.

Make your way to Bray Exoscince in Cadmus Ridge, then head inside as you normally would. Go down the frozen tunnels to the first room, then all the way to the back and through the door on the far left.

Keep making your way down the only real route you can take, and you will eventually come to a room with a red light in it that looks a little bit like an eye. The Penguin will be on the right, but when you arrive a shield will appear around it. Some fairly simple enemies will appear and you will need to wipe them all out. When they are gone, the shield will disappear and you can grab the Penguin.

Penguin Souvenir #5 – Asterion Abyss

This one is quite simple to get, and doesn’t involve any kind of weird mechanics or secrets, all you need to know is where to go.

The clue will send you to the Asterion Abyss, and you might notice some Vex you haven’t seen before hanging out up high on the ice cliff on the left side as you enter the area. Climb all the way up here, take out those pesky Vex, and you will have the fifth Penguin for your collection. He is sitting right on the edge of the cliff, overlooking the main Asterion Abyss area.

Penguin Souvenir #6 – Riis Reborn

This guy can be found in the Riis Reborn area of the Eventide Ruins. Spawn in at Varik’s base, then head all the way north. When you arrive in Eventide Ruins make your way to the elevator that leads up to Riis Reborn. The exact location of the elevator is shown on the map below.

From there, make your way all the way through the Riis Reborn area until you come to the room with a raised door on the left, and another door in the back right. You should remember this area as the door in the back right was closed with a Stasis lock during the campaign.

In that right corner, you will find a yellow bar enemy called a Fallen Marauder. Kill him, and he will drop the Penguin. After that, take it back to the room beside Variks and put it in its place to complete this section of the Triumph.

Penguin Souvenir #7 – Nexus

This one can be found in Nexus, the underground Vex area to the east of the Asterion Abyss. Spawn at Charon’s Crossing, hop on your sparrow and head right, then turn right when in the Abyss itself to take the tunnel down to Nexus.

Now, when you get here, run straight to the edge and look up. High above you you will be able to see a Vex Diamond. Shoot it, and another will spawn in. Move ot the right, follow the ridge all the way around until the part where you are about to jump down from the ice to the Vex structure. You will see it directly below you.

Now, back up a little and look straight up and over the edge of the right strut of the structure to the find the third one. For the last one, you need to jump down, but head around the back of where you would go to the Well of Inifnitude to find the last Vex Diamond. Shoot it, and the sixth Penguin Souvenir will spawn in.

Penguin Souvenir #8 – Kell’s Rising

This week’s Penguin can be found in Kell’s Rising. This is located up the elevator in the Riis-Reborn Approach, after which point you basically just keep going left through all the tunnels.

When you get to Kell’s Rising the area name will pop up on the screen, and you will find some Vex enemies. Kill them, and keep moving through the area until you reach an area with Fallen. To the far right of this area, you will find an enemy called the Stasis Spinner. You can kill them to give yourself some space, then jump in behind the crates to the right of their location. Here you will find the Kell’s Rising Penguin Souvenir.

We are not entirely sure if you need to kill the Stasis Spinner to make the penguin spawn, but we had taken him out when we spotted it, so best to assume that you do.

Penguin Souvenir #9 – Eternity

Make your way to Cadmus Ridge, then head into the Bray Exoscience compound. Go all the way through the tunnels, and make sure you head towards the back of the first big room, then take the door on the left to start the journey to Eternity.

You will need to go quite far, all the way to the room with the large server stacks, the big central console, and the seemingly pointless double-level hallway on the left side. You can find the exact location of this room marked below.

Go into that hallway and you will find a yellow bar enemy. Take them out and they will drop a charge orb. You need to bring this further into eternity, to the point where you need to ascend into the dark by jumping from platform to platform. When you near the end, you will find a machine that will accept the charge orb. Interact with it, and the Penguin will appear on a crate beside it.
