Raid Pokémon list during the Psychic Spectacular 2020 event in Pokémon Go

Psychic-type Pokémon have taken over all raids.

The Psychic Spectacular event for 2020 has arrived in Pokémon Go. For a limited time, Psychic-type Pokémon are showing up all in the game at a much higher rate than they usually would, and you can capture many of them in the wild or hatch them in any of the 2-kilometer eggs found during this time. There’s even two new Pokémon, Solosis and Gothita, and you can encounter them to add to your collection. Solosis only shows up during the day, and Gothia only shows up at night. A part of this event is Psychic-type Pokémon are now showing in raids all over the game.

Here’s a list we have created so far of the confirmed Pokémon you can encounter in raids, and at what star level you can find them. The list is not full yet, and we may add additional ones over the weekend. All of them are active during this event, so it’s a great time to capture a powerful Psychic-type. The Pokémon featured in these raids include:

1-star

  • Abra
  • Baltoy (potential shiny)
  • Meditite
  • Slowpoke
  • Spoink

2-star

  • Exeggutor
  • Girafarig
  • Kirlia

3-star

  • Alolan Raichu
  • Claydol
  • Espeon
  • Jynx

4-star

  • Metagross

5-star

  • Cobalion
  • Thundurus

The list may grow as we confirm more Psychic-type Pokémon over the weekend. They are only showing in 1 to 4-star level raids, whereas 5 stars raids feature the legendary Pokémon that are currently available, which include Cobalion and Thundurus. The raid versions of these Pokémon are significantly stronger than their traditional versions. You might be able to take on anything around the 3-star raid level by yourself, but if you want to take on a 4 star one, you will want to bring another friend or two with you to help out.

The Psychic Spectacular event for 2020 started on March 27 and will continue throughout the weekend until March 30, ending at 10:00pm in your timezone.
