A critical thing while playing Ancestors: Humankind Odyssey is ensuring you can take care of the small things, such as knowing how to stop bleeding. When your humanoid takes damage, there’s the chance the wound you got is going to be hurtful enough to need some additional attention. Here’s how you stop a wound from bleeding.

How to Stop Bleeding in Ancestors: Humankind Odyssey

What do you need?

You can’t grab any random leave or branch to stop a bleeding wound. You need to find a particular one called Kapok Fibers. These grow up on trees, so you don’t want to remain on the ground while searching for them. You want to get to a high vantage point and start examining the tree using your intelligence to find it.

When you find it, leap over to it and grab it. For those who are discovering this, you’re going to want to examine it while holding it. This way, you’re going to remember it in the future, and you can start using it on your wound. Luckily, as soon as you’ve finished examining it, you can freely apply it to your injury and stop the bleeding. You do not need to crush up the plant, apply it to any additional tools. You can use it as soon as you find it.

However, there’s an additional use to Kapok Fibers. If you apply it to yourself when you’re not bleeding, you can prevent yourself from bleeding for a limited amount of time. You may want to do this if you’re planning to embark on a dangerous fight, or are planning to go hunting.
