Challenger’s Proving II quest – Destiny 2

Challenger’s Proving II is a quest that becomes active in the second week of Destiny 2’s Season of the Chosen. To start the quest, make your way to the H.E.L.M and interact with the War Table to get a briefing from Saladin.

After that, you can officially accept the quest and start to work your way through it.

Step 1 – Cleansing

For the first step, you need to complete the Battle: Cleansing activity on Cosmodrome. Open your Director and select the Cosmodrome, then click on the icon for the Cleansing Battleground.

This is a very frantic fight, and you will be taking on Cabal and Hive enemies. As you fight through the event, you should get a new Medallion for your Hammer.

Step 2 – Hammer Time

When that is complete, you need to socket a Medallion in the Hammer of Proving. There is a mild glitch here, if you already have one socketed in the Hammer you will need to enter the Battleground playlist and use it, then socket another one to progress the quest.

Step 3 – Return to Battlegrounds

Now it is time to head to the Battleground’s Playlist in the Vanguard section of the Director and finish any Battleground event. You need to pillage a Tribute Chest at the end of the event to complete this step.

Step 4 – Return to the H.E.L.M

When that is complete, go back to the H.E.L.M and listen to Osiris and Caiatl. When they have finished speaking, interact with the War Table to finish up this quest.
