In Fallout 76 there are a lot of rare and powerful weapons that you can find across Appalachia, each with their own static spawn location. These aren’t classed as legendary weapons since they’re not obtained from legendary enemies. Instead, you need to know where to look to find some of the best weapons in the game. One of these is the Alien Blaster, a futuristic pistol that uses a rare type of ammo, only found in one location. Here’s how to get the Alien Blaster in Fallout 76, along with where to find Alien Blaster Rounds.

Fallout 76 – Alien Blaster Location • TL;DR Games • Fair Use

To get the Alien Blaster in Fallout 76, you need to head north to the Toxic Valley region. Head to the Clarksburg Shooting Gallery, then slightly north-east to the Graninger Farm. Between there and the Philippi Battlefield Cemetery is a completely destroyed house, with a pool of toxic water in the middle. Don a Hazmat Suit or pop some Rad-X then jump in the pool and look for a submerged broken safe in the middle. Inside, you’ll find the Alien Blaster, along with an irrelevant Rusted Key. The problem is that the Alien Blaster you’ve picked up has no ammo whatsoever.

Where to find Alien Blaster Rounds in Fallout 76

To find ammo for the Alien Blaster, you need to head to Ash Heap in the south-west portion of the map. Go to the Mount Blair Train Yard north-west of Welch and search lockers until you find the TNT Dome Key 2. From here, you’re going to want to head to the Black Mountain Ordnance Works, directly west from Vault 76 in the Forest. Look for DOME 02 then use the key to get in, and you’ll find Alien Blaster Rounds sat on the table. Keep searching the area, and you’ll find the plans to convert the ammo type to Fusion Cells. This is a great idea in theory since you’ll find far more Fusion Cells and they’re easier to craft, but be aware that doing this will nerf the gun from 15 damage per shot to 4. We’d only recommend doing this if you manage to get more than one Alien Blaster.
