If there is one thing that is a lifesaver in Genshin Impact’s Dragonspine region, it is Ghoulash. This dish will reduce the build-up of Sheer Cold on your party for 900 seconds, making exploring the region and farming it much easier. The only bad news is that it is a bit of a chore to get.
The first thing you need to do is finish the long In the Mountains quest for Esther at the camp just outside of Dragonspine. This quest involves thawing out all the shards, then climbing to the top of the mountain and thawing out some more in a bit of a jumping puzzle. After that, you can return to Esther and hand in the quest, then the Oh, Fresh Meat quest will pop at Harris, the camp cook.
Harris will want you to get him some chilled meat, and meat from the Great Boar King. To get chilled meat, just head to this area on the map. Here, you will find some frozen boars. Thaw them out with Pyro abilities, then kill them, which will cause the Great Boar King to spawn.
This is quite a fight, that would honestly be a lot easier if you already had Ghoulash. Make sure you are well stocked up on Warming Bottles to cut down the impact of Sheer Cold then do whatever you need to do to kill the Boar King. When you have all the Chilled Meat that you need, head back to Harris.
If you cannot kill the Boar King yet, just level up some and get stronger, then return and finish off the beast. Harris will give you the Ghoulash recipe which you can find in your inventory.

- 2 Carrots
- 1 Tomato
You can get carrots by searching just about anywhere on the map, but they are a common resource around Springvale. You can get tomatoes at the general goods stores in Liyue and Mondstadt.
When you have all the ingredients, make a Ghoulash and give it to Harris, who will then ask you to return after 18:00. When you go back to him you can hand in the quest and get your rewards which are 300 Adventurer’s XP, five Delicious Ghoulash, some Hero’s Wit, Primogems, and XP materials.
