Trials of Mana Stat Reset

How to reset stat points in Trials of Mana

You don't have to get it right the first time.

Increasing your stat points in Trials of Mana is the single most important method you have to make your character stronger. By investing points in stats like Strength, Spirit, and Luck, you’ll both increase attributes like damage and health and unlock new abilities that can affect single characters or the entire party.

At some point, though, you may want to change the way your stat points are distributed, especially after you’ve changed classes and want to focus your character in a new direction. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to reset your stat points any time you want. You just have to find the right NPC first.

To reset your stat points in Trials of Mana, you just need to head to the phony fortune teller in Merchant Town Beiser. You won’t have access to Merchant Town Beiser from the very beginning of the game, but by the time you have any reason to think about resetting your stat points, you should have gotten there long ago. You can return to Merchant Town Beiser at any point in the game, and it becomes especially easy once you’ve unlocked a way to traverse the world map, which happens early in the game’s story.

Once you get to Merchant Town Beiser, head to the Night Market. The Night Market is located in the southeast end of town, on the lower level next to the docks. As the name implies, you can only visit the Night Market at night. If you get to town during the day and need to talk to the fortune teller, you can just stay in the inn until evening or use a Dream Reed item to switch the game’s time from day to night.

Inside the Night Market, you’ll find the fortune teller in the back right corner sitting behind a table with a crystal ball. Just talk to her and she’ll let you reset the stat points for any of your three party members for a fee. You can use the fortune teller’s services as often as you’d like, so don’t worry about needing to make the right choices with your stats the first or even second time around.
