The Season of the Drifter is live in Destiny 2, and there’s plenty to do to get involved in the new event. For anyone who has not jumped on yet because they think they’re too low level to take part in the games, think again. Here’s the best way for you to level up and join your friends in the Gambit Prime matches. Also, to help motivate you, here are the multiple armor sets you’re grinding through the game and attempting to get.

Now, with that out of the way, this article’s all about the new legendary sniper rifle you can grab in Gambit Prime called the Sole Survivor.

Sole Survivor

How Do You Get It?

To acquire this sniper rifle, you need to have the patience to go through Destiny 2’s new game mode, Gambit Prime, multiple times. The reason it takes so long is that there’s a bit of luck behind it. Plus, the weapon only drops when you invade the enemy team during the game, and you get multiple kills.

Many players have reported acquiring the weapon they needed to use standard weapons, not using a launcher or a super, to take out the enemy team. Some Guardians were able to do it with a sniper rifle or a well-timed pistol. The drop shows up at the same time the player receives their Invader Synth, and they return to their team’s side.

What Perks Can It Have?

You can have the Sole Survivor drop multiple times throughout your time in Gambit Prime. Unfortunately, the first time it falls, it may not have all of the perks you want to use, so here are the various perks that can drop on it.
